This Year our Nationals are going to be hosted by Chelmarsh SC, Chelmarsh Reservoir, Hampton Loade, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, WV16 6BL
Located within 30 miles of the major conurbations of the West Midlands, Shropshire and Worcestershire, the club is easily reachable from the National road network. With access to 110 acres of sailing water on the reservoir, a modern clubhouse There are walks in the woods and around the reservoir, as well as maintained grassed spaces for children to play safely outside. It is situated in the South Staffordshire Countryside.

Tuesday evening Gas barbecue available at the club house individual use
Supper included in the cost of the quiz night
Championship dinner. 3 Courses plus coffee £16.00 per person
Vegetarian option to be prebooked
Meals marked with an asteric to be charged to the individually, possibly compounded as “a meal deal” or at the request of the individual billed and paid for at the end of the event. It is uncertain how many members will take each of the meals.
Camping On the grass area adjacent to the dam
NO DOGS are permitted on site.
Code No to access clubhouse will be advised although generally this will be open to access toilets.
Accommodation locally Bulls Head Approx 2 miles
The Dinney Approx ½ mile walk
Sailing Requested that courses be set that suit the British Moth and are not over complex.
Race duration to be approximately one hour
The PRO will agree with the Committee of the BMBA in the event of an adverse weather forecast whether sailing should be postponed.
Please note the following:
All entries need to ensure they have their Measurement Certificate available before the event. Please check there is one available for the boat and that it has an up to date buoyancy test and there are sails indicated on it. Replacements will not be available at the event but can be obtained by emailing the Secretary@Britishmoth.co.uk Please ensure that the cost of replacement is added to the Entry .
The boat and fittings need to be dry for a minimum of 48 hrs before the event to prevent the spread of invasive species.
