2020 is behind us.
Hopefully 2021 will be better although we have already had to cancel some planned Somerville events.
Both Simon Hall and Jenny Bentley stood down from the BMBA Committee last year after many years of hard working service, so we will be looking for a new Class Secretary and Race Secretary at this year’s AGM.
At the time of writing the first of this year’s events will now be the Maidenhead SC open meeting, Simon’s club, in April.
The 2021 National Championships will be held at Chelmarsh SC in August and the last open of the year is planned for September at Desborough SC, Desborough being the only open that actually took place last year. It is possible, however, that there will be changes to the advertised Somerville events list. With more cancellations and date changes, so please keep up to date by monitoring the racing calendar on the website.
As we approach April, it is time for membership renewals, and Ian Edwards will be sending out reminders so you can’t forget! Membership renewal forms are available on the website so you can cough up immediately if you would like to! The prices have not changed for this year so you can use the 2020 application form or the 2021 form.
