We would like to mention that Graham Pope has begun a somewhat arduous journey in support of the Altziemer’s Society Charity.
As many of you know, Graham has been a stalwart member of the British Moth Boat Association for many years – serving as Chairman; and building and repairing a number of beautiful Moths from his company, Severn Sailboats.
His wife Wendy, also a former Moth sailor whose Micro Brewery (Pope’s Brewery) kept us well-oiled at many a Championship, is now unfortunately in a home suffering from Altziemers. Graham, who has also recently suffered other family tragedies, has soldiered on undaunted.
For his latest adventure, he is travelling from his home in Gloucester to Germany – in his 74 year old Morgan 3 wheeler. Whereas most of the other Morgan owners taking part in this are trailering their Morgans to Germany, Graham is one of a few driving his the whole way there – brave man!
